Peanut Free Snacks

I wanted to send a gentle reminder that all snacks should be PEANUT FREE in our classroom.  I have noticed several snacks recently that were not safe for our classroom.  In this case,  I give extra snacks to those friends who require a safe snack.

Please remember to check labels on food packages.  While there may not be obvious peanuts as an ingredient, unsafe food labels usually indicate that the food was "processed in a facility that also processes nuts," or "product was made on machinery that also processes nuts."

To keep everyone in Room 100 safe, I ask that you please check the labels before sending them into our classroom.  Below is a link to a website that is frequently updated to include peanut free foods, as well as other allergens, that can be safely brought into our classroom.

Please click on Safe Snack Guide and download the latest list.  If you have any questions, please let me know.  Thank you in advance for your help!
