Beginning Sound BINGO!

Here we are playing a game of beginning sound bingo! Each kindergartener had a game board with pictures. I would then call out a letter sound and they would try to cover any pictures on their boards that started with that sound.

We had so much fun, and the kindergartners really used creativity, explaining that some pictures could be more than one word. For instance what I would call a picture of a man, they decided it could also be dad. When I explained that some of them had covered up the picture of the hand when I called the letter Ff, I was told that it could also be a picture of fingers! I love it when they think outside the box!
