Five senses doll

Since we completed our science unit on the five senses last Friday, we did a fun project today when we made five senses dolls!

Using a cut out shaped like us, the kindergartners were given different items and asked which of their senses they would use with this item. They then glued the item onto the cut on the body part that would utilize that sense.

For sight we used googly eyes, hearing was bells, taste was a peppermint candy, touch was a feather and a pokey pom-pom and smell was a cotton ball soaked in vanilla extract!

We will be sending these home as soon as the glue dries!

This activity was adapted from Mrs. Lee's kindergarten class.
