Shining Light

This week was a very unusual week for the kindergarteners.  As each student presented their first exhibition of the year, they were asked to work on several independent projects and assignments while I conducted Learning Team meetings with families.  Because of his excellent choices and leadership in not only following directions and completing tasks, but encouraging those around him to make good choices, I selected Caden as our class' Shining Light last week!  Caden really became a kindergarten leader during a week that disrupted our daily routines.  He also has worked very hard at controlling his emotions when he becomes frustrated or upset.  I am so proud of all the hard work you are doing, Caden!
