Recently, a flyer was sent home in your child's folder which explained that UPA is holding a Can Food Drive this year. Outside our classroom, we have a box for our class to donate canned and nonperishable food to go towards families in need. I wanted to give a great BIG thank you to Anthony's family for already donating and starting our class in the right direction. If anyone else has already donated without me knowing, our class thanks you as well. In addition to teaching the kindergarteners how important it is to help those in need, the classroom with the most items donated will be given the UPA Generosity Award! Ms. Ritter has also informed us that the this class will also win a special treat!
If you are able, please consider donating canned and/or nonperishable food items to our Can Drive. The box is right outside our classroom door! Thank you in advance!
