It's never too late to remember St. Patrick's Day fun!

A leprechaun must have moved my camera, but I found it!  This year, a leprechaun left us a series of letters that had clues as to where we should go to find him and his pot of gold!  First, we followed the clues to the office, where Ms. Gayles told us that she hadn't seen a leprechaun, but she had found a letter under her desk!

The letter in the office told us to go where we learn how to draw.  We knew right away that it was the art room.  We tip toed around the school looking for any clues on the way.  When we got to the art room, Ms. Seiklay told us that she didn't see a leprechaun, but when she was getting ready for her next class, she heard a small noise by the paints.  She said that she found another letter when she went to investigate!

This new letter told us that we had to ask Romeo and Dominique to help us figure out where to go next!  The clue told us to go to Ms. Gibson's office, and Romeo and Dominique got to lead the way!

You'll never guess what happened next!  The leprechaun wasn't in Ms. Gibson's office, but she said that when she turned around to sit at her desk, her chair was spinning as if someone had just jumped out of it!  She found a letter was on the floor, and 1 minute later, we knocked on her door.  We wondered if the leprechaun knew how close we were to him!

The letter in Ms. Gibson's office told us to go to a pond that was just the right size for a leprechaun and has fish that keep disappearing!  It also said that the room might feel like home to us.  We knew right away that we needed to go back to our classroom.  The tiny pond must be our fish tank!  That is, of course, why we must not have that many fish in our tank right now!  The leprechaun is fishing in our tank!  We quietly hurried back to our room and found...

the pot of gold!

We celebrated our victory with specially made "Cake Pops" that Ms. Steele brought us!  What a great St. Patrick's Day!  May the luck of the Irish always be with you!
