Hooray for Seuss Day!

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday last March, we celebrated by having all of our activities be Seuss-based!  Not only did we read many of his books leading up to the big day, but everything we did was touched by the good doctor!

Here we are graphing colored goldfish crackers for One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.

We made our own turtles out of paper plates, filled the shells with different amounts of sand, and then tried to see how many we could balance on top of each other just like in Yertle the Turtle!

We painted our own Cat in the Hat.

We created silly creatures and hid them in envelopes to make a Wocket in My Pocket!  We also wrote rhymes about our Wockets.

And, of course, we ate a special snack of Green Eggs and Ham!

It was a fantastic Seuss-filled Day!
