Our second guest teacher joined our class for some questions and fun this past week. As you may know, our class has been inviting next year's second grade teachers into our room to meet the 1st graders, share their thoughts about having them in their classrooms next year and answer any questions the children might have about themselves or moving up to the second floor.
Following Ms. Chisolm's visit this past week, we met Ms. Sizemore! Ms. Sizemore told us about her classroom, where she calls the children scholars. We also learned that Ms. Sizemore is from California, she likes the color green and she has posters of famous people on her walls! The children asked her about blocks and computers, classroom pets and second grade lunches! She also read the children her favorite book, The Giving Tree.
