Hello First Grade Families!
It was a pleasure meeting so many of you on Meet the Teacher Day and spending this past week with your fantastic children! I can already tell we are going to have an amazing year full of learning and adventures! I also wanted to take this opportunity to go over some important reminders.
Please remember ...
- school begins at 8:44am
- the tardy bell will ring at 8:49am
- our specials time is at 9am, so we may not be in the classroom if your child arrives late
- pack 2 peanut/tree nut free snacks SEPARATELY from your child's lunch box
- school dismissal is 3:50pm
- Curriculum Night will be held on Wednesday, September 21
If you have not already done so, please send in the completed dismissal and allergy forms to school as soon as possible. Also, please send in your child's completed September Pride Post (apple) if you have not had a chance to already.
You should have received your first newsletter of the year on the first day of school last week. Please remember to fill in your child's reading log each night and return it on Fridays. Weekly newsletters come home every Monday.
