Our New Found Love of Graphing!

This week, we have been talking about graphing! We started by graphing the Fun in the Sun sheets that were turned in at the beginning of the school year. We discussed how graphs are pictures that help us to better understand and compare different groups of numbers, and show us which of the group is the most or the least.

We have been graphing fall pictures from a spinner, our favorite colors and even the numbers we roll on dice! After we spin or roll, we then use a bingo dauber to put a dot above that corresponding picture on our graph.

The kindergarteners have loved graphing so much, that several of them asked for extra graphs to do during choice time! It is so wonderful to see them so excited about a new math concept!
