Learning About Our 5 Senses

Our current science unit is about our five senses. We have learned that our senses send information to our brain in different ways. Earlier this week we learned what our five senses are. Yesterday, we did our first science experiment using our sense of sight.

Using primary paint colors, we mixed two together at a time to see what color we would make. We determined that we wouldn't know if the colors were changing by listening, smelling, feeling or tasting the paint. We needed our sense of sight to know what the new color was!

We talked about how her sense of sight not only helps us with colors, but shapes, words and recognizing our friends and families!
