J is for Jam

When we learned all about the letter Jj, we had our own JAMboree!  We even made our own homemade strawberry jam!  Each child got to cut strawberries, help work the food processor, add sugar and pectin (a powder that helps the jam stick together), and stir the mixture.  We had an amazing time and the room smelled great!

We got to try our recipe at snack on some crackers.  It was a big hit!

The best part was getting our own "jam jar" to take some home and share it with our families!  We hope you liked it!
