Field Day Fun (Kindergarten 2013-14)

I love these pictures from last year's field day!  There are so many great action shots!  We had so much fun and participated in constant exercises that kept us happy and healthy!

Here we are playing a great game of 4 Square:

To work on our hand-eye coordination, we threw tennis balls into the air and tried to catch them using tennis ball containers.  It was harder than it looked - those cylinders are small!

We played a field day version of HORSE on the basketball court.  Check out that jump shot!

Her we are doing relay races:

We threw and kicked footballs over our soccer nets. Those are really high when you are kindergarten sized!

We bounced on big balls, rolled giant tires and jumped in potato sacks!

We can't forget Frisbee throwing, water bottle bowling, balancing tennis balls and water balloon tossing too!

One of our favorites was working as a team to climb all around the giant spider web!

We even carried water in sponges and cups and raced to fill a bucket before the other team filled theirs!  This was the best station because we got to cool down with some water in the shade.

What an amazing field day!  We can't wait to see what we will do next year!
