Mrs. Bruner Visits

This past week, we welcomed the last two second grade teachers into our classroom for us to meet.  The first one was Mrs. Bruner!  As we have some students with older siblings in her class, her visit was very exciting!

Some of the things that we learned about Mrs. Bruner were that her husband is both an elementary teacher at the UPA Mark Murry Campus as well as a fireman, she loves teaching math and her favorite color is purple!  She also read us a book called Little Panda, that had different textures on each page for the children to touch! 

The children asked questions about what her classroom looks like, what websites they will be using, what kind of books they will be reading and if she would be open to getting a classroom pet.  They also loved the idea of being right above our classroom!
