The Idita-READ is coming to a close...

This Friday will be the last day to turn in Idita-READ reports.  I am so impressed with how many books some studnets were able to read during the month of March!  Thank you again to Mr. Curran's 4th grade class for doing a buddy reading session with our class.  This enabled every student to have at least one "musher" on the board!  Below are the current racers...

At the end of the day on Friday, I will make sure that all reports have been returned and the total number of "mushers" the children have earned are on the wall.  I will report over the weekend the winner, as well as 2nd and 3rd place!

Next Friday, before we begin Spring Break, I will pass out any prizes the children have earned, as well as provide a pizza and ice cream lunch for the winner(s)! 

Good luck to all the racers as they begin the last few days before reaching Nome, Alaska!
