Lice 6: Son of Lice

The newest lice sequel has just been released.  There is a confirmed case of lice in our grade level.  Please continue checking your child's head and treat if you notice any lice or eggs.  Also, please notify the office if you do find lice on your child so that they may notify parents in our grade level.

Field day Reminders

Tomorrow, June 4, will be the annual Harlan Field Day!  We will participating in our activities all morning.  Please remember to wear your class shirt and gym shoes.  Without gym shoes, there may be activities that your child will not be able to participate in.  Also, Mr. Price gave each student their own water bottle for tomorrow.  The kindergarten bottles are light blue.  The children wrote their names on them today.  I recommend washing them before using them.  Please send your child with their Harlan Field Day water bottle so that they can stay hydrated throughout the morning.

Special Writing Activities in the morning, followed by a writing-themed Husky Pack and assembly in the afternoon

Friday, June 6 - Kindergarten Picnic
Please arrive by 11:30 with your child's favorite lunch and blanket to eat your picnic on.

Library Book Reminder

Please remember that Mrs. Stayer had asked that all media center books be returned to school by last Friday. As we will be visiting the media center tomorrow, the children can bring any books are they still have at home with them.

Picnic RSVP

This is a gentle reminder to please let me know how many people from each family will be attending so I can have more chairs placed in the classroom if necessary. I have not yet heard back from all of the Room 100 families, so I just want to make sure there's room for everyone!

As a reminder, at the picnic, which will be held next Friday, June 6, the children will be performing songs for their families and sharing their kindergarten memory books with you. They will also have a chance to enjoy a special picnic lunch with their families on the grass behind our playground. Please remember that lunch will not be provided, and that we are asking families to bring your children's favorite food with them, in addition to any blankets that you would like to eat.
